YOGASMOGA is a US based athleisure brand that offers US manufactured Yoga apparel and accessories.  Built by Blank powers YOGASMOGA’s Magento development and back office solutions to help with daily operations. We planned and developed a customized experience from the ground up for their eCommerce platform.

Moreover, we added features like rewards systems, seamless shipping, customer support, gift certificates, promotional tools, analytics and testing environments, plus a whole lot more to the site.

Selecting a Platform

At the time we created the YOGASMOGA site, Shopify as a platform was not yet built to handle the needs of a large eCommerce enterprise. In fact, Shopify targeted mid size and smaller retailers. Magento was easier to customise and therefore was better equipped to handle the various features that a large etailer needs.

Reward Systems

One of the core concepts of YOGASMOGA’s strategy was nurturing customer loyalty. Built By Blank coded in a custom rewards system. This system, gave users points for activities onsite such as creating an account, making a purchase, sharing YOGASMOGA products on social media etc. These points can redeemed and used to make purchases onsite.

Seamless Shipping

We used custom code to integrate shipping tools with the site that made it easy to invoice, ship and track each order.

Gift Cards

Additionally, we added Gift Cards to the site. They are a very popular option for customers who want to buy their friends/family something but are unsure of what to buy.

Promotional Tools

Our team was part of the YOGASMOGA marketing effort and was making regular changes to the site for promotional reasons. From updating the latest collections and home & landing pages to integrating email tools like Mailchimp, our team did it all.

Analytics and other tools

In addition to Promotional tools, YOGASMOGA needed other tools such as accounting software, Analytics, Inventory management etc. The Built By Blank team used available plugins to integrate the tools to the site. Wherever plugins were not available, the team custom coded the integrations.

Testing Environments

Any enterprise eCommerce site needs to handled with a lot of care. So, any changes to the site must be carefully planned and implemented to avoid possible downtime and loss of revenue. Therefore, we created testing environments. These are versions of the site that are not visible to the public. In fact, they are visible to internal teams and we use them to test changes before going on the live site.

Built By Blank was a complete technology partner to YOGASMOGA and made sure that the brands online operations functioned smoothly. Moreover, we make all necessary changes to the site on time and the site remains updated and relevant to its targeted audience.
