Staple Pigeon is a US-based street culture and design-inspired clothing label. Their ecommerce store was first on WordPress. However, the brand felt the need for a change as they felt constricted by their current site. They eventually decided to move from WordPress to Shopify.
Built By Blank helped Staple Pigeon move their online business from WordPress to Shopify.

We analyzed both WordPress and Shopify before settling on a choice for this project. We chose Shopify because it’s an inclusive solution that’s easier to use as it handles everything from hosting to security.
Key Features
Newsletter
We added a newsletter feature to the site. This allows users to subscribe to Staple Pigeon’s newsletter and receive the latest updates, exclusive member-only deals, and other marketing, such as 10% off their first order.
Compare at Price Functionality
We added compare at price functionality on the product details page. This feature lets customers to view prices of a product before and after sale giving them a clear overview of the discounts offered.
Blog Functionality
Also, we added a blog section where Staple Pigeon’s behind-the-scene features are exhibited through documentary videos, journal features, and other media.
Mini Cart
We added mini carts to let customers view their selection at any time and with ease, without the need to visit the full cart page.
Collaborations
We highlighted Staple Pigeon’s stance in the fashion industry by adding a list feature of their collaborations with various high-end brands like Nike, Cole Haan, and Puma.
Payment Integration
Hurdles during payment are a major cause of users leaving mid-purchase. So, we added multiple payment methods like ShopPay and PayPal to make it easy for customers to pay for purchases.
With their ecommerce setup, Staple Pigeon observed an increase in collaborations with various high end brands. Moreover, their visibility was also enhanced in the apparel market.
